so another day with more rain.
I recorded some videos today I will post them in youtube  and put the link here...
here are some pics..

its been raining all day. In the morning I had no desire at all to get up from bed, but around 10 am they woke me up and I just couldn't stay in bed anymore.
Huge improvement mom gets closer and closer I feel like Im gaining her trust, the weather was horrible, the puppies were all wet and my camera almost fell when I saw a huge bee approaching  lol
I fed them and finished fixing the house, when I was bout to get in the house I saw the mom digging something when I took a closer look I saw what she was doing, she created a better "house" for the puppies, underneath another abandon shaft; this time I helped her. After that I helped her carrying the puppies, she kept looking at me all the time like "I'll kill you if you drop one" anyhow... I think this new place is better for them, the entrance is a lot smaller, they have a proper roof and no water or wind gets in, of course this mean that is very difficult for the mom but I've come to know that all mothers do that ALL THE TIME.
So they are doing so much better now and hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

Rainy Day..

This blog is dedicated to all animals that haven abused or abandoned by a human.
Especially the mom that gave birth to 10 puppies (yes I counted wrong) , who happens to live right in front of me.
This is their story and sadly this is their life.

First I have to apologize for the quality, I was taking the pics with my fiance's phone. I didnt know how the mom was gonna react with my presence so I decided not to go out side with my camera.

First gotta introduce my self, my name is Zamira Romero (in a few months Brajovic) I was born in Bogota, Colombia 25 years ago. I'm currently living in Zemun Polje, Serbia, waiting for my fiance to come back from work (he works at Holland America as a sound tech) anywhore..... I have two babies, one  is Otis he is a mix between a French Poodle and god knows what and the second one is Goofy a mix between a Labrador Retriever and Golden Retriever, they are currently living with my mom in Bogota, I wanted to bring Goofy with me but my mom didnt think it was a good idea.
I love animals (not insects, hate them, gotta kill them all!!!), more than people (its true I can share even give all my food to an animal without thinking about it but wont do the same with a person) so before Alex went to work I started hearing this noises coming from the neighbor's backyard, since I'm terrified of insects I didnt go out to see what kind of animal was it. You will see (in future pics) that the house has been abandoned and the grass is really thick and high, hence my unmistakable " F*ck that I'm not going anywhere near that" but once Alex was gone and I found my self with nothing to do and the crying of this animals I decided I was going to conquer my fears, with 2 T-shirts and one sweater, thick pants and snickers (it was .25 degrees out there).
I got there and I heard the mom barking at me, kept going and saw the mom leaving some sort of shelter, and it was then when I saw them, 8 beautiful new born puppies (10 Today I realized there are 10).
This place is full with insects and ticks, hornets, bees,  full of abichuchos (that's how we say in colombia "way too many bugs") I have managed to clean the place inside a little bit, put a roof to it, with some wood that was left behind from the construction, I took some old jacket that I have and put it on the dirt, so at nights they have something warmer.

The reason I started this is to help them, maybe somebody out there can help them out. I'm doing what I can, I buy them milk and some sausages, to feed the puppies and the mom; but only have a couple of hundred dollars, I dont think it will be enough specially in 5 months when they get bigger. Please understand the following I AM NOT ASKING FOR MONEY, I am only asking for supplies, so if anyone out  there has dog food, a dog house, some milk or anything that you think I could use for them  plz send me an email to zamiromero@gmail.com so we can find a way to help them.

Its getting dark I'm gonna go and to see how are they doing. I will write and post pics and videos of the dogs

everyday.

God bless your heart.
